OpenAI, after coming head-to-head with the undisputed king of search engines, Google, is now coming after TikTok, Meta, and YouTube. It has launched a new social media app, Sora 2, allowing users to create high-definition video clips with audio from text prompts.
The concept is fresh, as it enables users to upload short videos of themselves which allows them to insert them into the Sora-generated worlds. Users can write a prompt and generate a 10-second video — allowing you to add “cameos” of your friends into these clips (with their consent, of course).

OpenAI will consider the user’s activity, attain the user’s location via their IP address, and their past post engagements, along with their ChatGPT conversation history to curate the algorithmic recommendations.
